On a day where we expected many protests through-out the country of Saudi Arabia, we now also have a Bin Laden tape - released on the same day - which condemns the Saudi regime! This tells me this is a coordinated attempt by Bin Laden to trigger the fall of the Saudi Royal Family... Here are some of the details from the latest Bin Laden diatribe:

* In the tape Osama is addressing basically the Saudis in general and the Al-Qaeda organization.
* Osama attempts to instill a sense of insecurity by accusing the royal Saudi family of collaborating with the United States.
* He describes Egypt, Jordan, the Gulf States and the New Iraqi Government as traitors.
* He goes on to praise the members of Al-Qaeda that carried out the attack on the US Consulate in Jeddah.
* Osama then mentions how the Saudi Government helped the United States in the first Gulf War in 1990 and the most recent one, all while the Saudi's are denying any collaboration in imposing Saddam Hussein.
* Osama talks a lot about the corruption in the royal family in Saudi Arabia and asks them to step down.
* In his usual rhetoric he praises all the Anti-US Forces in Iraq, Palestine, Chechnya, Philippines, Indonesia and Afghanistan.
* Osama finishes off by talking about how the west, mainly the United States are taking advantage of the Muslim resources especially the oil. All the prices are on the rise however oil is supposed to be priced at $100 / barrel.

In addition to this tape, there are reports of protests coming out of Saudi Arabia... Now there is no way to confirm these, but the reports from Islamic sites cannot simply be dismissed. The reports indicate that the protests were not as well attended as had been expected, but the coordination with the Bin Laden tape - coming out on the same day - is scary....
