POLITICAL WINDS BLOWING STRONGLY AS 2004 COMES TO A CLOSE...

A while back, I wrote an article titled CIVIL WAR: DEMOCRATS IMPLODE ON THEMSELVES. Now it seems that the political winds are again blowing in WASHINGTON. But this time, the wind is blowing around the REPUBLICANS in a way that many in this country did not foresee after BUSH's amazing win this past November.

But, an interesting thing happened on the way to the Inauguration. The NEO-CONS turned against COWBOYS of the Republican Party. The COWBOYS (seemingly led by BUSH and, now joined, by RUMSFELD) have been sold down the river by the NEO-CONS in their own party. The NEO-CONS who basically stayed quiet and hidden in the run-up to the election, have now launched an all out attack on Rumsfeld - actually seeming to blame him for the problems in IRAQ. To a certain degree, they may be correct. But, why the attack now? What is coming that has the NEO-CONS scared to death?

ANSWER: The IRAQI Election.

This will be the turning point in IRAQ where the IRAQI people begin to take "ownership" of their country again. The COWBOYS, led by BUSH and his "OWNERSHIP SOCIETY" theory, favor this. They want only to help the IRAQI's acheive the ability to manage and run a peaceful and democratic country. The NEO-CONS plans on the other hand are quite different.

The NEO-CONS (believed by most to be led by influencial political insider, BILL KRISTOL) want to EXPAND the existing war in IRAQ to SYRIA and IRAN. I believe that BUSH does not want this. I believe that BUSH's plan for the Middle East doesn't involve more WAR - only the threat of WAR. And the thing is - that will be enough. We will transform the Middle East - not through constant war - but through the ideals that we have brought to that region of the world - starting in IRAQ and AFGHANISTAN...

2005 will bring many changes... not only around the world, but also in the Democratic and Republican parties.... The world is changing again. Only time will tell where all the pieces and players end up....
