CAN ABBAS GET MILITANTS IN LINE?

AP is reporting today that: An armed group linked to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas' ruling Fatah party announced Saturday it was willing to accept a cease-fire if Israel also agrees to stop attacks, a sign of progress in five days of talks between Abbas and militant leaders.

[BUT...]

Debka reveals that: "Abbas in Gaza since Tuesday has not so far obtained ceasefire consent from Hamas or any terrorist chief"

Also: "Fatah-Al Agsa Brigades and Jihad Islami calls for reciprocal ceasefire Saturday aim at importing Hizballah-style balance of threat to Gaza Strip: they will retain freedom to resume attacks at will while Israel forgoes deterrence. Part of their price is also release of comrades in Israeli jails."

SO, THE SHELL GAME CONTINUES... ARAFAT STILL SEEMS TO BE CONTROLLING THE PALESTINIANS FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE...
