Santorum bill seeks U.S. push for democracy in Iran

A bill in the Senate would support efforts by the Iranian opposition to overthrow the ayatollahs' regime.

The bill was drafted as Congress has been pressing the Bush administration to support regime change in Iran. The administration, citing the stability of the Islamic regime, has resisted the policy option.

As much as I didn't care for the man that sold out our country to China, I have to say one thing for Billy Clinton - he changed the U.S. policy for IRAQ from one of containment, to one of regime change. It's time that we changed our policy on IRAN to one of "regime change" as well. It's time to start officially supporting the repressed people of that country. And it's time to get rid of the power-drunk, Mad Mullahs before they get their "islamic bomb".
