From on Friday, April 2nd...
President Bush signed an executive order Friday authorizing the government to impose a quarantine to deal with any outbreak of a particularly lethal variation of influenza now found in Southeast Asia.

What is interesting is the actual text of the Executive Order...
Based upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Health and Human Services, in consultation with the Surgeon General, and for the purpose set forth in section 1 of Executive Order 13295 of April 4, 2003, section 1 of such order is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new subsection:

"(c) Influenza caused by novel or reemergent influenza viruses that are causing, or have the potential to cause, a pandemic.".

Now isn't it coincidental, that literally 2 weeks after this order was signed, the WHO announced that the 1957 flu virus that killed millions was "accidentally" shipped to over 5000 minimum security labs nationwide? Couldn't this virus be classified as "reemergent"? It certainly is capable of causing a pandemic - as the media keeps telling us. Did Bush know about this 2 weeks ago when this order was signed? Are we in for an outbreak this summer?
