via the AP comes this disturbing news ...
Doctors have admitted making a mistake when they treated then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon with large doses of blood thinners after a mild stroke, according to a TV report broadcast Thursday.

Sharon has been comatose since suffering a massive stroke on Jan. 4. Channel 2 TV quoted doctors who treated Sharon at Jerusalem's Hadassah Hospital as saying the anticoagulants given him after a minor blood clot two weeks earlier might have caused the debilitating hemorrhagic stroke.

The immediate question that comes to mind is... Was this really a mistake? Or was there something far more sinister at work here? It's no secret that Israeli nationalists believed that Sharon had sold them out when he negotiated and implemented the Gaza strip withdrawl in 2005. Was this retribution for what some believe was one of the most unspeakable acts ever committed against the Israeli people... by one of their own no less? Or was this the mysterious hand of God, guiding (or mis-guiding) the doctor's hands to punish Sharon for his actions?  Then again... maybe it was just a mistake... a cruel twist of fate for the man once known as the lion of the desert...
